Vehicles provided are SIDE-access, often with a MANUAL ramp. These automobiles are designed for transport of an individual in a wheelchair, and are not equipped with transfer seating or hand controls for a disabled driver.

INSURANCE:
Renter's Insurance is ALWAYS primary in the event of any incident during the rental period -- We recommend renter informs insurance agent of rental dates to insure proper coverage is provided for the vehicle chassis AND the additional conversion & equipment
Additional Renter's Collision Protection is available for $26 per day and covers up to $20,000 (subject to $250 deductible) for damage due to collision, vandalism, windstorm, fire, hail, or flood
(all contract & claim procedures must be followed) -- NON-REFUNDABLE once purchased
DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR EACH DRIVER:
Copy of valid, driver's license
Each driver must be at least 25 years old
Copy of current Insurance card
Current address, phone, date of birth
DEPOSITS:
$100 deposit required for 1-6 day rental
$200 deposit required for 7-13 day rental
$500 deposit required for 14+ day rental
100% of deposit refundable with two week (14-business day) notice of cancellation
50% of deposit refundable with at least 3-business day (72 business hours) notice of cancellation
Less than 3 business day notice (72 business hours) = forfeit of deposit
* Deposits MUST be paid with Visa, Master Card, Discover or AMEX (NO DEBIT CARDS) & is required for us to hold a vehicle. Once a vehicle is reserved, we refuse rental to any other calls that come in if our rental fleet is fully booked. Because we are often booked for weeks in advance, cancellations inside of 14 days restricts the chances that we will be able to fill the block of time previously reserved.
MILEAGE:
Standard Rental rates include 100 miles per day
Weekend Specials includes a total of 300 miles
$0.35 per mile will be charged for any mileage over allowable
Mileage count begins when vehicle leaves Hartselle, AL, and ends when returned to Hartselle, AL; whether picked up by customer or delivered by Griffin personnel
FUEL CHARGES:
Vans are delivered with a full tank of fuel, and should be returned with a full tank.
Any vehicle returned with less than a full tank will be subject to the cost of fuel + a $50 service fee.
Pick Up and Delivery:
In many cases, we can provide delivery & pickup of rentals. This premium add-on must be coordinated at time of booking and is based upon location & availability of driver(s)
Vehicles can be picked up, at no charge, at Griffin Mobility's Office, located at 213 Chestnut Street NW, Hartselle, Alabama.
Delivery 25mi or less one-way -- $50.00 per delivery and/or pickup - Includes HSV airport
Delivery 26-50 miles one-way -- $75.00 per delivery and/or pickup
Delivery 51-75 miles one-way -- $95.00 per delivery and/or pickup - Includes BHM airport
Add $1.25 per mile for distances over 75 miles
If you are experienced with mobility equipment and wheelchair securement procedures and do not require instruction or training, we are happy to leave vehicle in short-term parking @ airport(s) -- * Extra charges will apply for Delivery/ Pick up between 6:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Deliveries and pick ups are subject to additional charges if our delivery personnel have to wait more than 30 minutes to complete transaction as a result of a late flight etc.
